At Gardenia, none of our shareholders interfere with the running of the business in Malaysia. The management team make all the operational decisions. This act is applicable to ALL companies and industries including bakeries, flour millers, oil manufacturers and etc. Some companies use proxies and are not easily traced. Gardenia has Bernas as its partner since 2001. Gardenia’s top management team has not changed since 1987. All business and operational decisions, including the list of suppliers, are made by the management base on commercial considerations. Dear Uncrony,

Thus, by giving Gardenia business, a consumer is indirectly supporting & benefiting a monopoly business and a crony. Gardenia needs concrete actions to disassociate itself from such companies & individuals, otherwise it's just a wasted effort to spend on marketing campaigns to try clearing its own name, while nothing is done to break the association or end the shareholdings.
